A Private Hospital in Soshanguve is looking for a Finance and Administration Manager who will be directly responsible for the management of the financial, patient and payroll responsibilities of the hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

• Produce accurate and timeous financial management analysis report
• Analyse and report on balance sheet reconciliations, cost and benchmarking implications/ results
• Prepare management accounts, budgets and forecasts
• Analyse and report on budget variances
• Assist with corrective operational actions to ensure successful implementation of systems and processes
• Evaluate operational and financial reports to improve accuracy and relevancy
• Evaluate financial processes and implement corrective action to ensure alignment and standardisation within the division
• Process and/or review general ledgers
• Review balance sheet reconciliations
• Ensure VAT and SARS compliance
• Engage with the business and IT to evaluate all anomalies, assisting the division to implement corrective action
• Management of the payroll
• Management of the fixed asset register
• Management of patient services
• Overall management of the cash flow of the business

Benefits:

• Salary on offer up to R75k total gross per month for the right candidate

Applicants for this position must:

• A relevant 3-year B Com degree or equivalent NQF level 6 Financial Management qualification with articles. A Chartered Accountant qualification is an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years relevant acute private healthcare industry experience
• Experience in development of daily financial management reports
• Experience in drafting annual financial statements
• Experience in dealing with VAT and income tax matters
• Ability to prepare and report financial statements to the board
• Understanding of basic financial principles (i.e. budgets, credit management, planning)
• Computer proficiency, experience in the Trimmed system will be an advantage
• Problem-solving and financial analysis
• Strong Verbal & written communication and presentation
• Must have a strong Ethical conduct
• Ability to build relationships
• Customer responsiveness
